Squeeze Sculpture (aka Stress Sculpture)
The Squeezeable sculpture features 25 pounds of vibrant clay encased in a white clay exterior, inviting the audience to grasp and explore its ‘gobstopper’ effect. This interactive piece draws inspiration from the iconic stress ball, highlighting how joy can emerge from stressful moments when we embrace creativity and process. Standing seven feet tall, the sculpture was showcased in Almost Real Things Gallery’s “Touch The Art” exhibition in 2024, attracting over 400 visitors, including students from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The accompanying images capture the transformation of the sculpture before and after the exhibition.
