Casey led the new media integrations, and video/ projection design for a six hour immersive audio/visual piece by endurance performance artist Moll Brau, and Suite 290 curated by Malek Lazri. Casey has also worked with Brau on video art development projects.
“Geraldin’e Place”, Art 84
*THESE SHOTS NEED THE WIDE <——) As New Media Director, Casey collaborated with the Art 84 team and the Hickerson family to transform old, low-resolution photo, video, and audio media into a virtual narrative tour of the late artist Geraldine Hickerson's mural-adorned home, preserving her legacy lost after her passing. The project began as a proof of concept in 2020 within a test space and was showcased at Art 84 headquarters in 2022. Casey has also contributed to various media projects with Art 84, including the Digital Drawing Room.
Thee Gay Agenda 3D Stage Designs
Casey designed and executed 3D projected set designs, digital pop-up museums, and immersive spaces for Thee Gay Agenda at prestigious venues including The Contemporary ATX Museum, Mohawk, and North Door. Notable productions featured a 14-foot interactive computer and a dual-set projected adaptation of CLUE, incorporating audiovisual and hand-drawn motion effects. Casey also partnered with the founder to develop lasting marketing strategies and graphic merchandise that remains available today.
Psycho Jelly, Live Interactive
Casey served as Project Manager at Psycho Jelly, for diverse audio-visual projects, prominently HBO's Game of Thrones interactive immersive warehouse experience. Additionally, Casey coordinated workflow among Psycho Jelly's owner, engineers, and clients during the design and development of stage designs for T3 at Austin's historic Scoot Inn. Notably, audience heart rates and brain waves influenced and shaped visuals on the LED stage set during the 'Head and Heart' performance at SXSW.
